I got 2 PC's Nforce2's I will cut and pase the specs from my xfire profile.
Anyway I have them Linked with 100Mb NIC's and a 100Mb Router...
I was wondering if 1Gb is ALOT better and are there any possibilities of linking 2 PC's togeather in any way to maybe have one help the other with a load?
What I am saying is data transfer the only way to have PC's work togeather???
I know we have had Athmon MP's and now Dual Cores to basically make one PC into 2 in a way...
Is there anything that is useful about having 2 PC's with the same specs?
I know you can make game servers and file servers or stream video from the others harddrive and ect...
Just never heard about anyone ever tryen to bridge 2 PC's PCI busses or something like that. I am a tech but I do not design computers so I have no idea what is possible with them.
I would guess anything ever done would fall under the networking catagory.
