networking 2 home computers

I bought a dsl cable router. plug it in plug in your comps and off you go.. after a short configurations of the router , I have seen them as cheap as 50.00
second option if pick up a 386 or 486 from good will. install .freesco. configure and away you go. router will require 2 nic's both comps will need a nic also this is by far the best option in my opinion
