I have 2 dell computers and an ethernet switch. I have both the computers hooked up to the switch and one of the computers (which has 2 network cards) is also connected to the net. I want to share files and internet access. How can I do this? Can I connect the cable modem directly to the switch, then share that? please help!
 
A gateway/router is definitely nice, but if you only have 2 comps you want to share and already have 2 NIC's in one of them, I wouldn't spend the extra money.
