This setup involves 2 computers and 2 printers. The computers are two identical custom built P4 machines, and the printers are the following:
Printer 1: HP LaserJet 6MP
Printer 2: HP OfficeJet G85
For reference purposes, I will name them. PC 1 is hooked up to Printer 1, and PC 2 is hooked up to Printer 2.
PC 1 can print on both Printer 1 and Printer 2. However, PC 2 can only print on Printer 2. It can not print on Printer 1.
Printer 1 does show up on PC 2, but it simply gives an error when you attempting to print. I used the Troubleshooter, but to no avail.
Yes, it is set up to be shared. And there is no firewall running, as they are on a router.
I checked MS.com, and came up with the following resolution, but do not know how to do it. If you guys think that is the answer (even though PC 1 can print fine on both), then please tell me how to change the IP of the printer. However, if I were to do that, won't that screw things up for PC 1?
Another thing to mention is that on PC 1, the only printer driver for Printer 1 that shows up is a native WinXP driver for that printer, "HP LaserJet 6P/MP PostScript".
However, PC 2 lists that driver, and the driver "HP LaserJet 6MP". Not sure if that means anything.
And since they are networked, it actually says "Auto HP LaserJet 6P/MP Postscript on [name of PC]" and "Auto HP LaserJet 6MP on [name of PC]", respectively.
In any respect, here is the suggested resolution:

Printer 2: HP OfficeJet G85

--You cannot print to a network printer after you add Internet Connection Sharing--
After you add Internet Connection Sharing to the network, you may not be able to print. This issue occurs because Internet Connection Sharing uses a Class C subnet that has an address range of 198.168.0.x. To resolve this issue, reset the IP address of the printer to match the subnet of the computers that are using Internet Connection Sharing.
