Networked Harddrives?

I was wondering if anyone makes harddrives that can be plugged directly into a router and therefore accessed by multiple pc's on the network. I see a lot of external harddrives that have usb and firewire ports, but so far I havent seen any networked ones. If these exist could someone recommend a good brand to go with. Thanks, Rob
