As of a year ago or so I see [network] or [network]-EXT.
I don't know what the EXT is about.

Before you were likely seeing 2.4 and 5 which would have been the frequencies at which those networks operated.

Network plain would be your main/primary router nearest your incoming internet and network-ext would be an extender or mesh. In other words you must have more than one router with one being an extension of the first.
