Hi Im having a very difficult and frustrating time trying to get home network to operate. First, both computers are using an ip address assigned by the router (Linksys 4 port router) using dhcp server. Now all the cabling is correct, ive checked 100 times, but i cant connect to the internet. The cable modem is working fine, all the lights on router are light up. Logging into the router through webpage works. I have only 2 computers trying to network. When i do ipconfig /release, then /renew i get back my cable ip. If anyone has any suggestions, please, I need any help i can get
