Network Trouble with Battlefied 2142

So I bought a copy of 2142, but can't seem to actually play. It logs into the Master Server fine, but no matter what server I try to join the games at, I always get super high latencies and "Connection Problem" error flashing on my screen, this occurs even in servers with no one else in it! And this problem persists even when I join servers that displays the latency in the double digits, I log in, and instantly "Connection Problems".

I know some ports have to be forwarded, I have done so but not all the ports since to open them all requires 15 lines on my router setup but there is only 10 available, so I condensed the ports by expanding the ranges per line. Firewall is off, both windows and on the router. Static IP set.

I'm playing over a cable modem, full bars on the wireless card...

Any thoughts?

Try using a wired connection. Nothing should need to be forwarded. I'm betting that you're having some latency issues with your wireless (easy to do if you're in a wifi saturated area).
