Ok I have a linksys router and a gigabit switch.

I have the router connected to the switch and all the pc are connected to the switch

I have DHCP turned on.

I cant figure out why my speed would have gone down so much. If anyone knows why.

I usually transfer between a Windows 7 64 bit and a Vista 64bit

Both of those computers have a gigabit networking adapter. Ok does anyone have any ideas why.

If I go from the vista machine to windows 7 I get about 40MB
If I go from Windows 7 to vista I get about 15MB

I'm not sure what to do about this.
