Network Solutions sucks big!

I've been moving some of my sites, and unfortunately one is a domain that I registered back when NS was the only game in town. A week ago, I updated the Name Servers with them, and have tried a half dozen times since.

Their system is a convoluted disaster that looks like it was coded by a third grader. They NEVER answer eMail except for their dumb ass auto-responders that say the changes will be made. These people suck.

Contrast this with Register.com. I changed the DNS with them for a couple other sites, and it's done in minutes.

I guess Network Solutions still thinks they are a monopoly and can just treat their customers like crap.

Damn, they suck.

Would you know if a domain name has been registered w/NS, can it be moved to another domain name registration service when the current registry expires?

Yo_Ma-Ma,

Yep, you can move them to another registrar at any time. The only reason I haven't yet moved the only two I registered with NS is because I want to make sure all changes are done. After that, it's hasta la bye bye to these idiots.
