Network sharing on Win2k Pro... help

1st Problem:
=========
I added the "Guest" in Comp Management under Admin tools long time back in order to share my folders over local LAN. Since that everyone can access the file in read-only mode. Now I try to share another folder (right click -> sharing -> enable sharing) but no one can see this new folder, except myself (via network neighbourhood). Any hint??

2nd Problem:
=========
A friend of mine just upgrade to Win2k Pro (we are in the same LAN). "Guest" has been added but we all cannot access his files. We can see the folder but everytime we try to access it, a message "access denied" appear. The folders he shared are all in "read-only" mode. Pleaes help.
