I'm trying to get this to work so I can use one lan port to link to the internet and the other to share it with my 2nd computer. Problem is, I can't get the network setup wizard to start!

I tried looking for network conflicts, I tried running it from the Windows XP CD, tried running the executable file manually, I tried enabling ICS in network settings. No dice.

in network connections, my first connector's device name is "Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC", the other one is "NVIDIA nForce MCP Networking Controller". They both show in the Network settings and Windows knows when a cable is plugged into each but when I try to turn on sharing, windows does nothing. This has been a long-time problem and I've pretty much given up. Help me out if you can. Thanks guys

In away you might be lucky since using this wizard is not the best way to set a Network to begin with.

It ?pays well? to spend the time to learn how to setup the Network Manually.

Link: Installing & Sharing.
