Network Setup Help

I have Comcast cable internet upstairs...
I have a wireless router also upstairs...(linksys)
I want to be able to have a strong connection downstairs also with 2 PCs, what is the best way to do this??
1. What type of wireless cards should i get? usb or slot
2. If I get a USB adaptor (Linksys WUSB11 Ver 2.6) for one comuter and either a pc card or usb comact adaptor (WUSB11) will that work fine?
3. Or do I need an access point?
4. I also have an extra D-Link wireless router hanging around if I can use that.

3. Or do I need an access point? You shouldn't need an access point, depending on the distance between the PCs, but I doubt it. Check around for reviews of your wireless router and see what people are getting on an average as far as range.
4. I also have an extra D-Link wireless router hanging around if I can use that.: I believe you can set it up to be a wireless access point, but i'm not sure if that will require a wired connection.

If by using PCI Wireless the Antenna is going to be stuck behind the tower and the wall close to the floor. You better off with USB that can be connected with USB cable and put up and above the system.
