I torrent a fair bit and had a WRT54GL running Tomato. It ran absolutely wonderful. The most important part QoS, worked very well. Then I built a home server and wanted to upgrade to a gagabit router with n. I went with the Linksys WRT610N. Its been a decent all around router but is flaky at time. So now looking get a router that will run it. Basically I want a Tomato capable router connected to the internet that will run QoS. Then I have my WRT610N that I want to still be able to use to transfer files to and from my server. For small(< 2GB's) I do wireless but for the rest I drag out an ethernet cable.

my clients consist of a Windows Home Server, a 360, a PS3, my notebook, and my wifes notebook, and finally my step-sons desktop.

Thoughs on how this should be set-up? I am open to going a completely different direction. The whole goal is to eliminate internet slowdown while torrenting, I do not want to be able to tell its running. I want to keep Gigabit going from my notebook to the server, this can be wired if need be.

You should have kept using the WRT54GL with Tomato and just bought a gigabit switch to hook up the hardlines.
