Network segregation?

I currently have a cable modem, a wired router, and a new wireless router.

Would it be secure enough to hook up the wireless router downstream of the wired router, and establish a WAP2 key, MAC filter, and limit the number of DHCP addresses to only the devices that I use?

Or do I need to follow network segregation and have the WiFi router hooked up directly to the cable modem, with the wired router hooked up downstream to the WiFi Router?

FWIW I am experimenting with using the WiFi router downstream of the wired router. I cannot use file/printer sharing with the computers attached to the WiFi Router, which isn't a big deal. However, the PC's attached to the WiFi router CAN access the wired router. Does this make sense?

You can Not access form the computers that are on the Router that is connected dirwectly to the modem the computers on the second Router since they are protected by the Router's NAT Firewall.

So make your choice which computer needs more protection and put them on the second Router.
