network question, about random files

i dont know..the latest thing ive DLed was the trayman thing that you recomended in some sticky post in the other forum. maybe thats not the problem, but im getting these strange symptoms. when i boot up (98se) my C D E F drives are all shared (3 HDD, 1 CD combo drive). it will happen every time, even if i unshare, and restart. ive looked in the network neighborhood, and those arnt there, its only the icon changed, but yet they ARE shared, with ful access when i look at them with explorer. also, on the ones i selected to share (media folders and stuff), there is a random named file with extention .eml in each of the subdirectories that has the size of about 160kb each (note, that because the HDDs arnt actually shared, the files dont get placed there) . . . what could be causing this to happen?
