Quick question -
Is it possible on an intranet site to get a client's network properties? For instance, is it possible to get their username and password for ASP validation?
The reason I ask is I'm developing an app in ASP but I need to implement a username and password. I'm hoping that I can just call up their network info and use that. I realize that this leaves a big hole if someone gets up and another jumps on their machine, but that isn't too big of a concern. Also, certain departments have restrictions on parts they can see.
I'm just trying to eliminate a second log in for those that use it.
If it's possible, maybe point me in the right direction or give me some keywords to look up some more info. I don't mind researching it, but I wanted to see if it's possible first.
Thanks.
