Hi,
I have four systems. Two are running Win2k, while the other two run Win98. The two Win98 systems recognize and can access the Win2k systems via Network Neighborhood. The Win2k systems do not recognize the Win98 systems. All systems are pingable. The systems are connected via two router/switch (Linksys router/switch). I am using a crossover cable to connect the two routers via uplink.
System #1 + System #2 = switchX ---
---> uplinked System #3 + System #4 = switchY ---
Please post if you have any idea on how to get the Win2k systems to recognize the Win98 systems. I'm using TCP/IP protocol. All systems share file and printers.
