network printer question

RBBRMADE

Senior member
I have a network printer (connected via ethernet) that will only print the first three pages of a 40 page document.
It does not error in any way, it just stops printing. The PC acts as if the print finished fine.

Any idea why?

The printer is a Gestetner 224.
Thanx,
Ron

Sounds like a printer buffer problem. Check your printer settings or print fewer pages at once.

I appreciate the help, but that's kind of vague!
What printer settings?
Printing fewer pages at once is not taking care of the problem!
Thanx though!

start>settings>printers and faxes>
right click on that printer, and select properties
click on adavanced tab

take a look a your spool settings.
It might be that you are overloading the print buffer, depending on those settings.
Make a note of the settings, and change them to find the right combo for your printer/documents.
