Network printer problem

I have a printer, OKI B6300, installed on a windows 7 64bits PC.

One of the PCs on the network is a Windows 7 32bits.

That PC can connect to the printer by both the "install additional drivers" (after I edited the names on the drivers .inf file) and by creating a local port (\\host pcname\printer name) methods.

I've shared the printer and the spool\printers folder, giving all permissions. I've also changed a group policy (something as "find and targeting printers", my OS is in portuguese). I stopped and started the spooler using an elevated command prompt.

The other 64bits Windows 7 PCs and 32bits Xp are working fine.

This one sends the test page, but then there is an error displayed on the printer panel - carr bandeja1 common and letter0 (or lettero?). Bandeja is tray (printer has 2 trays), carr seems to be to load paper, although the tray as enough paper and other pcs will print just fine once I cancel the print job from the 32bits W7 PC (the job is easily cancelled either directly on the printer or on the w7 32bits pc printing queue window).

I've looked into the OKi manuals and errors list but can't find any solutions.

Ideas?

Thanks

Only thing I can think of is that your have SNMP enabled incorrectly. if you disable it on the driver AND the printer, it solves a lot of issues. Not saying it is the issue, but it is something you can try.

Have you checked to see what paper size is set as the default in the printer settings for the problem workstation. Is it possible that it is defaulting to A4 instead of letter? Generally when a message like that appears on the printer the print job is calling for a different sized paper than what is available in the trays.
