Network Neighborhood Problem

I have a bsfr41 router w/2 linksys 10/100 LME100TX cards. One in a bx system and the other in a via system. Broardband works with both computers. The problem is when I click on the neighborhood with the via system, I get the searching flashlight and it cant see the other computer,cant see entire network and cant see itself for about 20 minutes. Finally it sees everything then when I click on the other comp. it totally flakes out and gives me a blank screen. The bx system works good and can access files from the via system also. Ive tried switching cards,removing and re-installing drivers,all protocals and everything is exactly the same on both systems. Can anybody help? Is there a problem with the via chipset and networking? Im pulling my hair out here! and running out of ideas.... Well looks like I can get to where it sees the drives on the other computer but then when I click on one of the drives... nothing...con.,alt,del shows the "kids toy" other machine not responding?
