network maintenance plans

At my previous job, we had a super-slick interface for planning out network maintenance windows. It included things like time frame, major steps, sub steps, backout plans, ability to attach configs & diagrams, testing plans & steps, the whole shebang. Unfortunately, my current employer doesn't have these tools readily available, and instead relies on the standby LegalPad method, which gets unwieldy pretty quickly on even mid-sized projects.

What do you guys use? Do you have a template? Would you like to share? I am pretty certain I'm going to get migration project, and would like to have something standardized to work from instead of (mostly) winging it.

thanks! 😀

Bah dont feel bad guys....Microsoft Excel here...and it sucks I might add...this applies to all our non cisco stuff..

Our Cisco vendor does it all for sus though, nice wen interface with dates, times, all the goodies, it is quite a service!

That sounds pretty hot of the Cisco folks. Do you happen to have a screenshot/scan/something of that? I would like to see how Cisco maintains their plans - maybe I can glean something off of it for my template building.
