Network Internet Sharing Device recommendations?

Greetings,

I have a friend who has 4 computers and is soon getting DSL. He asked me for help and wants to be able to access the internet on all 4 pc's, and at the same time possibly be able to print to the device without using a computer as the print server.

naturally I'd give him my solution "Install FreeBSD on a cheap machine and configure ipnat" 🙂 but he's not technically competent and the last thing I want to do is help him configure his bsd machine at 2am! 🙂.

The only devices I've seen that support printers is the SMC barricade and a 3com one, which I've found has been discountinued. How is the SMC device? I wouldnt mind getting a linksys, but I would prefer a device with a built in print server, but I don't want to get a piece of junk internet sharing device.

Are there any review sites for different IS devices out there? Any personal experience you guys may have? I would appreciate them. Thanks!
