Network in a box?

Is there a top recomendation for a cheap network in a box type solution? Its for my parents, who are across the country for me, so having them buy one box with all the directions/software/nics/etc included is what I think would best suit them. Netgear, Dlink, Linksys? Anyone stand out above the others? They will use it to share files and share a netconnection (dial-up) over two computers. Under $75 would be great.

My DAD bought one of the Netgear Network in a box and seems to really like it! If he can hook one up ANYONE can
