How do I give then different ip addresses so that their computers will be faster or is that a problem that could slow speed down? Thank you for any help that you can give me.
 
Well if you are using the DHCP which came with the liksys router they should not have the same IP. If they do then you set them that way. Here is how to change to DHCP if you have your router set for it

Connection Properties >>> (TCP/IP) click properties >>> Obtain IP automatically and Obtain DNS Auto >>> OK
