Network Help for W2K Newbie

Ok, my PC has W2k, and my laptop with 98SE. They are networked. They are both under the same workgroup, so they can each see each other on the network. The problem is, when I try to access My 2K machine from 98, its ask for a password. I can't seem to find in the 2K help how to set this password for a shared drive. Any help?
