Network HD enclosure with NTFS support...

Well, I have too many files spread accross too many hard drives on too many computers. I'm looking for an easy and centralized storage. Is there a hard drive enclosure that can be connected to a router AND supports reading/writing NTFS file system? I found many enclosures but they only support FAT32. I need > 4GB file size limit.

Or use a dedicated computer as a file server? I have a computer that currently runs XP Pro that isn't been used much.

use a dedicated computer for ntfs I do not thing any thing else will would support it well.

I am really tempted to get one of those Ethernet enclosures, but every review I have read on them says they are junk. A computer or a dedicated NAS like a Buffalo Terastation is a much better way to go. There is a free file-server operating system called FreeNAS you may want to check out.

You don't necessarily need NTFS for > 4gb support. ext2 or ext3 will handle those just fine.
