Hello, Can anyone refer me to any network guides that simplify and explain in simple examples what all the network parameters mean? Gateway, DNS, Subnet, Host?. I am trying to set up a linux machine on a Linksys router, to a cable modem (Cox@home), and have come to the realization that I don't properly understand the networking concept enough to set this thing up, plus I can't find any examples that fits my situation. Thanks for your help.
