I am trying to learn about network forensics. Everywhere I searched were about how to use some tools to scan the network.

I was wondering if someone could give me an idea/how to, to create a mini lab that could simulate a server be hacked and I need to go in and conduct network forensics.

I could probably setup a windows 2003 server and a workstation maybe a router as well.

Is there any good sites where I could do more research on network forensics?
