Network Evaluation

I've been asked if I'm interested in evaluation the technology at a small business. 2 servers, 30 users. Does anyone have a good cheat sheet of everything I should be reviewing? I'm a network admin so I've got a good idea of what to look for but thought a step by step guide might make sure I look at everything.

These are all obvious:
servers
PC
backup
mail
vpn config
router
switches

What else should I look at?

Documentation for network jacks

Not yet they haven't!! That's why I'd like to do it right. It's one of those help out a friend kind of things.

most of this is driven by what they actually want to do.

ie, what are the business needs/goals.

From there you use technology to make the fit.
