Network engineering career options

Apparently I did quit my job for my own reasons and now it seems to be tough to find another network engineer position. I used to work in a SOC role as a security analyst, than a security engineer than a network engineer/network design engineer.

I used to work in a data center role. I have done routing/switching/security and have worked with the below hardware.

Fortinet - 5 years

Cisco - 6+ years

Meraki - 3 years
Cradle point - 5 years

UTM/Webfiltering
TCP/IP/networking etc.
IPSEC/SSL VPN
Data center vpn conc 15000+ vpns
BGP/OSPF/EIGRP routing
Wifi deployment/troubleshooting and design

Can't find a job with my experience, what am I missing here?

Certs
CCNA R/S
CCNA Security
Fortinet NSE
Cisco Meraki
Comptia Net/Sec+

I am guessing I need to add a CCNP and python to my cert/experience list?

How's your professional networking going? Have coffee with friends from previous jobs, poke around some meetups, etc. Majority of jobs are filled without being posted.

Get some cloud admin certs. Your old specialty is being rapidly replaced by AWS.
