is it possible to synchronise a local drive to a network drive, so that all the files on the local drive are as up to date as those on the network?

If you map the Network drives most Sync. Program will recognize it as a drive and will sync.

Most Sync programs are Manual or schedule oriented. I.e. you can click to sync or put it in a mode that uses Windows native Schedule and adjust it to a timing of you choice.

Example: Allway Sync - folder synchronization tool.

One program MirorFolder, is different. It acting as Software RAID and keep constant Live Sync.

Link to: MirrorFolder - real-time backup of your files.

Allway Sync is an excellent app. I have already downloaded it and used, and makes good sense on how to use the program, and the best thing is, you can install it on any of the machines, the server or the client. Thank you JackMDS
