Network Connection, User Switching, and Dell Quickset

Hello,
I have an Inspiron 600m connected to my home wireless network. My network is encrypted. I have Dell's Quickset managing my network connection. Whenever I do a Switch User, the first user's connection to the network is disconnected. Both users have wireless profiles connecting to the same network with the same password and such. I'm guessing the interruption is a result of waiting for Quickset to load on the second user. I know there's no such problem if I have Windows managing my internet connection, but is there a way to have Dell Quickset not briefly disconnect upon switching users? Thank you very much.

PS I'm not sure if this belongs in the Software forum, but I thought networking was the more prevalent topic...

what actual card do you have? Probably an Intel or Atheros (could also be Broadcom). I know there is an option in the single sign on stuff, can't remember what it's called.
