Network Cards and WPA

OK, I just built a new MCE computer, got it up and running, activated and everything works great.

However, I installed a redundant NIC on accident. I'd forgotten the mobo has one on board. I need to change the DVDRW for a color-matched one, yank the un-needed NIC and add an 80gb drive for recorded TV.

From what I've been reading on the internets, the NIC counts for between 2 and 3 "votes" towards the WPA hash. So, swapping out the DVDRW and yanking that NIC means that it loses between 3 and 4 "yes" votes, correct?

So, if I pull that NIC and change the dvdrw, will windows ask me to reactivate?

The other day I replaced a stick of memory and was prompted to reactivate Windows. The answer to your question is "maybe", and even then should you have to reactivate and it fails the online method you can take 5 minutes and phone it in.
