Network Card questions!

I'm looking to buy a network card, but don't know what I should be looking for. 10/100/1000, interface slot, etc. I've got a windows 7 64-bit computer w/ an i5 2500k, radeon hd 7970, and 8gigs of ram. My internet is 70 down, 6 up. Thanks you!
 
to determine what type of interface, open up the side of the pc, here's a picture that may help:

I currently use PCIe x1 10/100/1000 adapters. One is a broadcom, and my other pc has an Intel.
