Network card problem!

Alright!, I remove my old network card because I couldn't find a driver for it in Windows XP Pro. I uninstalled the the old card(ADMARK Comet A L981) and installed the D-Link DFE-530TX, started windows then the network message pops-up telling me "the network card is unplug"!!!. Ok I installed the card on a different PCI slot, still gives me the same message. Also when I enable the network, the mouse starts to lag WTF!!!

I have the Linksys BFESR41 Router, update to the last firmware.

Someone told me that I'm running into an interrupt conflict. He said I should change the IRQs in device manager. I tried to do that but I can't seem to do it, how do you do that?

I checked my lan cable and router, they're both fine.
 
Cmon guys I really need help in the this one. How do you change the IRQs in the device manager if in the resources section the device as no conflicts.
 
Delete the network card (NIC) from the device manager switch off and reboot one time without the card. Switch off and shuffle other PCI cards and put back the NIC.

Boot into the BIOS and make sure that the OS is PnP checked.

Let it boot may be you would get lucky and what ever holds the IRQ will let go and let the NIC possess it.

Not sure if you have other PCI cards plugged in, but my DFE-530TX preferred to be bus master. I never really had any trouble with it after that.

There's nothing wrong with my cables, I checked them twice.
