HI Everyone,
I purchased a DLINK wireless network card for my Dell Latitude C640 notebook. When I insert the card into the slot in my notebook- the system doesnt recognize it until I literally "jam" it into the slot. I think the copper top of the network card isnt making good contact with the connector on the notebook slot (not grounding the card). If I apply downward pressure while inserting the card- the card is recognized and works perfectly until I let go (and then my whole notebook freezes).
Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can get this card to fit more securely into my notebook? I would REALLY appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance.
