I just put together a new machine with the Asus SK8V motherboard and I have it connected to an older Linksys 4 port router - when I reboot or shutdown the machine the network disconnects and network link indicators on the back of the computer and on the router go out. Resetting the router (or unplugginf the power for a second) solves the problem - but I'd rather not have to do that. I was using the router with a standard d-link 10/100 card with no problems. There are other computers in teh house connected to the router without this problem.
I have installed the 3com NIC dirvers that came with the motherboard.
Any suggestiosn wuold be helpful, thank very much,
Laurence
