Network card compatability?

I'm looking at setting two home computers up as a network.
Both are AMD K6-2's (266 & 400, respectively) with ATX m/boards.
One will be connected to the internet and a hub? with a printer, scanner and other computer attached.
Are Intel Pro (ISA) network cards compatible with above and what sort of network hub would I need?
Also is 10Mbps enough for two computers?
have a great day and thanks for all replies😉

Yes, almost all NICs will be compatible with your hardware... but I would suggest getting a PCI card if you can instead of ISA, much less trouble...

If you are only setting up a 2 PC network, you can just connect them with a crossover cable instead of using a hub/switch... that is if you don't really plan to add more PCs later...

I would also suggest getting 10/100 Mbps NICs instead of 10Mbps ones... 10/100 ones costs below $20 anyways...

What advantages does PCI have of ISA?
I eventually want to connect the pc's to my tv/video and a docking station for my laptop.
Would I need two NIC's for the internet computer which will be linux w/ or w/out windows
