Ok guys, heres the scoop. My internet is running like crap, very very slow. Granted its only verizon 768/128, its still REALLY slow. It takes over 30 seconds to refresh ATOT, to give you an idea. I checked a few other computers in my house and their internet is still slow, but not AS slow...and my computer is better than any of them.
Next I did a bandwidth test from an online site, and my computer tested right with all the others in the house. Now how can my websites load WAY slower than other computers in my house, yet my bandwidth test comes up on par with them? An idea I had was somehow my network cable coming from my port in the hub is going bad. Its a 50 foot cable that runs outside and into my basement, so I cant just test it with something else. Is it possible for a network cable to lose speed, yet still work? Could this be whats causing my issues?
Any idea would help, thanks in advance guys
