ok so yesterday I bridged my wireless card and my wired lan in my laptop together so I could get another computer online over the lan connection. It worked great except today I was going to change the firewall on the laptop so I went to disable the network cards so the laptop couldnt see on a network while I changed out the firewall, but now I have completely lost my lan connection on the network and the wireless is still thinking its hooked up to the bridge and not in a bridge at the same time.

My wireless says its connected to the correct network, but it wont pick up a IP address or let me choose what wireless network to connect to. It looks like at this part its in a bridge. But there is no bridge and I can still create another bridge to something else just fine and I know XP wont let you have more than one bridge.

I do not have a windows disk as this is a tablet computer and Gateway in their infinite wisdom didnt think I needed a Windows Disk to repair and reinstall windows at a later date. So reinstalling is out.

Never mind, Windows has decided to fix itself. I don't really know what I did, but when I tried to use the repair for the wireless, it froze so I just hard rebooted the system and when I booted back into windows everything was working again :)
