Now, there's external hdd's that run over cat5, and I have booted from them. It takes some tinkering but it can be done. My question is, is it possible to boot through a hub? I would think it would be because at that point networking means nothing, a hub being just a collection of physical connections. Is it possible?
And as a followup, would it be possible to have one standard boot on an external hdd, assuming every computer connected to it was EXACTLY the same?
