Hi guys. This is my first post here and If I am posting in the wrong room please forgive me, and instruct me where to go.

I would like some opinions on NAS. I will be using it at home for only 4 computers. I would like somewhere around 250-300gb and I would also like to Raid it. I am not that computer savvy so take it easy on the super tech stuff.

I have found that the netgear storage central sc101 would be about what I am looking for but it seems to get mixed reviews. It seems to do everything I want it to but people complain that it is slow and gets hot.

As always cost is a factor for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With the SC101 you also need to install software on all of your computers that you want to access the unit. All of the othyers seem to be USB only though.
