Doh!

I just hooked up a Lexmark Optra Rn+ with integrated 10-BaseT, all works well, but the activity lights on my hubb are going bonkers.. I disabled all protocols except for TCP/IP on the printer.. It did this before I installed the drivers, what gives?

It's just making friends with your other devices... seeing if it can 'network' with any of them. Those Lexmarks are quite the party animals.

I'm not sure what that is, but there's no mention of it on any of the printer status (network status etc) pages..

Prety much renders the network status LEDs useless.. :|
