Netware seems destined to piss me off.

First it hoses my partition table, then it gives me assloads of grief trying to recognize the network driver in VPC2K4, and now it refuses to mount the media, whether real or ISO.

What in the hell is the hugely redeeming quality that's worth all this crap? :disgust:

HA ha!

It'd be funny if we didn't have a quiz on it in an hour. Being that less than half of the class has even gotten the bloody OS installed, never mind patched and functional, methinks there's some postponing in the works.

I'm cursed with the crapiness of Netware every day. Feel lucky that you only have to deal with it in a class.

Netware is teh suck.... I'm glad we got away from it a couple years ago.... even though, I gotta say, for file sharing purposes, its pretty able to do quite a lot on very limited hardware.....

Except it takes nothing less than Novell themselves to come in and set it up for you. Everything after Netware 4.11 was just crap.

Netware works great here at work... But I didn't create it :D It has been here since the beginning.

Sometimes the install of the newer versions is a little interesting. ;)

Migrating a server to new equipment can be a serious bitch though. I have had to babysit a restore from tape more than once.
