Netware as a router

I have a friend who is using a Netware 5.1 as their router. The server has 3 NICs and their LAN segment is divided into 3 segments.

Any ideas on how I would go about moving them over to a more traditional router like Cisco?

Serious answer. I doubt that old stuff has Gigabit-Ethernet interfaces. Show someone the difference between file-transfers over 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps. That might do the trick.
