Don't you mean firebird? Or is there another new name this week?
I'm curious where the Mozilla name originated. I'm guessing it has a long history, since it is mentioned in pretty much every browser, IIRC.

And the beast shall be made legion. Its numbers shall be increased a
thousand thousand fold. The din of a million keyboards like unto a great
storm shall cover the earth, and the followers of Mammon shall tremble.

Well, my IE browser sends this as a user-agent identity
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; .NET CLR 1.0.3705)
The mozilla project is the mozilla project, their main browser was mozilla for a long time, now it's firebird, but it is "Mozilla Firebird". Mozilla is the project, firebird is their browser.Don't you mean firebird? Or is there another new name this week?

Interesting, maybe they took it out in newer versions. Here in 1.0x I get a red screen with white text saying:

Cool, interesting indeed. This has been a work in progress of mine for a while now but has TONS of different user agents (and my attempts to identify all of the legit ones). The page is something like 1.4MB though, and I'm on 128k cable, so it'll take a long time to totally load.
# Mozilla Firebird is just Mozilla with a couple UI tweaks.
The 40,000+ lines of code already added or changed from Mozilla beg to differ. People who claim this are generally unknowledgeable about Mozilla Firebird.

Mozilla doesn't install aol, realplayer, and winamp by default when you install it. Netscape sucks for that reason alone.
