netscape freezes when i open hotmail email

opening randomn personal emails netscape has been freezing...calling for a ctrl alt dlt...to end the task...messages are about 20-30K in size...

i know hotmail just redesigned their whole site so...dunno if that is a problem...

Upgrade Netscape or try with IE and see if you have the same/similar problem(s).

Ya that sleazy AOL puts pop-up ads for flimsy webcams on their nutscrape homepage... and that "smartdownload" is the most annoying thing ever foisted on people, partly cuz it pops up ads you can't even close...

like funk, if i wanted to buy cheap crap i'd go to k-mart, get off my back already.

It looks better. It has a better bookmarking system. It's more user friendly. Communicator has all my "Internet" tools integrated into one nice package. And because it's was my choice and was not forced upon me by a large useless corporation (which in itself is enough reason NOT to use IE).

Who uses Netscapes site? For that matter who uses the default homepage? You can disable the default homepage easily (or use a blank one) and you can (read should) disable smartdownload and liveupdate for everything but your AV software. (Average Joe: "What's a preference setting?&quot
