netscape and linux

I am using both opera 5.0 and netscape 4.77 with mandrake. Netscape crashes constantly. Opera does not (but it does not have functionality for some sites). is anybody familiar with a fix for this netscape problem. I deactivated java under preferences. that did not help. Although this did help me a lot about three years ago when i was using Redhat and netscape, but not this time. Anyway suggestions are welcome.

Solution: Netscape out, Mozilla in.

Netscape 4.5+ sucks on Linux, plain and simple, getting rid of it is the only fix I know of.

Mozilla can be downloaded on Mozilla.org.

ive heard good stuff about mozilla, this months infoworld had a review on browser, Konquerer 2.2 got pretty good marks as well as opera, so you might wannt try the latest of both of these browsers.
