Netscape 7.1 helper apps "always ask me before handling files of this type"

Hi everyone. I just got Netscape 7.1 and it is better than 7.1, but I have one issue that I can't seem to fix. Going to shoutcast.com for some music, I click on any "play" button for a mp3 stream, and a dialog comes up asking me what program to use for this file type. At the bottom of the dialog box there is a checkbox "always as me before handling files of this type", which I unchecked. Click on a stream again, the same dialog pops up...then, I go into preferences >> helper applications, but going to the properties for any file type, the checkbox for "always ask me blah blah" is checked but grayed out, so the stupid dialog box comes up every time.

Any ideas on how to enable this checkbox?

If you're going to use a non-IE browser, than you really should look into mozilla or firebird, Opera and even IE for that matter are also much better than netscape.

It popped up again because you didn't select an action(Open... or Save...) for it to take.
